Who We Are
The NATCODEV Coconut Farmers Initiative for Development (NCFID) is a national program designed to empower coconut farmers across Nigeria through cooperative structures, access to finance, training, and market linkages.
Launched in partnership with key stakeholders including the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) and the Coconut Value Chain Development Program, NCFID aims to transform coconut farming from subsistence activity into a sustainable, profitable enterprise for thousands of smallholder farmers.
We believe that when farmers are organized, funded, and connected, they don't just survive—they thrive.
Our Mission
To empower Nigerian coconut farmers with the tools, knowledge, and financial support needed to build resilient, profitable, and sustainable agribusinesses.
We are committed to replacing uncertainty with systems, isolation with community, and exploitation with fair partnership.
Our Vision
A thriving, self-sufficient coconut industry that contributes significantly to Nigeria’s agricultural GDP and rural development.
We envision a future where every coconut farmer has a digital identity, access to global markets, and the financial literacy to build generational wealth.
